CPSHE Research Assistant Awarded Dartmouth Scholarship
Arwa Gulzar, a soon-to-be 2026 graduate of Florida State University, has been accepted to Dartmouth College to complete a Master of Science in Health Data Science, under the Geisel School of Medicine. Arwa will be in the two-year program and will move on to medical school once she has earned her Master's degree. Additionally, Arwa's educational successes and dedication to research have earned her a $30,000 merit scholarship through Dartmouth.
Arwa is currently a third-year Bachelor's student at Florida State University in the Clinical Professions program, housed under the College of Medicine, and is set to graduate July 31, 2026. She began working as a research assistant for Dr. Casey Xavier Hall through the Undergraduate Opportunity Research Program (UROP) and continued her work post-program completion. Her UROP presentation was titled "Demographic Differences in Artificial Intelligence Trust Scores in Novel Scale"; you can view her poster and background here.
