Raymond Jones PhD

Dr. Raymond Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Department of Medicine. He also serves as the Associate Director of the UAB Center for Exercise Medicine. His research focuses on healthy aging, HIV, physical activity, and vascular health. His work investigates vascular and behavioral factors that influence cognitive and physical functioning among older adults with HIV. Through interdisciplinary and community-engaged research, Dr. Jones develops and tests exercise-based interventions that support successful aging in older adults.
