Evelyn Iriarte Parra PhD, MSN, RN

Dr. Evelyn Iriarte Parra is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz. Her research focuses on HIV prevention and care among Latino communities, with interests in HIV and aging, health disparities, and culturally responsive community-engaged interventions.

Dr. Iriarte Parra earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing in Chile and her PhD in Nursing Science at the University of Miami, followed by postdoctoral training in HIV and aging at the University of Colorado Anschutz. She currently leads research supported by the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI), the Emory Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Adelante Program, and the ACTG Early-Stage Investigator Mentorship Award.
