Kayla Gonzalez

Kayla Gonzalez is a third-year student at Florida State University majoring in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry. She is actively involved in undergraduate research and is continuing to build her experience in scientific writing and health-related research. Her academic experiences have sparked strong interests in public health, healthcare equity, and the social factors that shape health outcomes.
Outside of academics, Kayla is passionate about improving patient care and expanding access to healthcare for underserved communities. She plans to pursue a career as a Cardiology Physician Assistant, where she hopes to combine clinical practice with advocacy and community-focused care.
