Rasheda Haughbrook

Dr. Rasheda Haughbrook is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Florida State University. She obtained her PhD and MS in Developmental Psychology from Florida State University and also completed her MS in Molecular Cell Biology, along with dual degrees in Psychology and Biology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University.
Dr. Haughbrookâs research examines the intersection of the environment, genetics, and overall context in relation to developmental outcomes such as academic achievement, physical health, and mental health. She is also interested in exploring novel statistical modeling techniques to measure growth, change, and development in educational and public health outcomes. Dr. Haughbrook focuses on populations that have often been less studied in this field. She is passionate about translational research aimed at improving overall growth and development. Dr. Haughbrook believes that understanding the complex relationship between education and health brings us closer to enhancing public health outcomes through the interaction of biological and environmental factors.
