Dr. So Hyun Park is a Professor at the Red Cross College of Nursing, Chung-Ang University, and an Assistant in Research at the Florida State University College of Nursing. She earned her BSN and MSN from Yonsei University College of Nursing and her PhD from the University of Illinois College of Nursing, and previously served as an Associate Professor at the Florida State University College of Nursing.
Her research focuses on the prevention and management of childhood obesity. The central goal of her scholarship is to improve health-related behaviors and weight-related outcomes in children within a multilevel context, including child and family, childcare, and community settings. Through community-based family interventions, she develops and delivers effective strategies that engage communities, children, and families in establishing healthy lifestyle behaviors, promoting health, and preventing obesity in children.
