Dr. Frascella is the Chief Clinical Research Officer for Florida State University (FSU) and Tallahassee Memorial Health (TMH). Before this role, he was the Vice President of Research at the Legacy Research Institute, where he directed the biomedical and translational research programs within Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Frascella spent much of his career at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), holding various leadership and research administration positions and overseeing large basic and clinical research programs at the National Institute on Drug Abuse. He also served as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, working in the Office of the Vice President for Research to foster collaborations between students and faculty. Before joining the NIH, Dr. Frascella directed a neurophysiology laboratory at the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He also held an Assistant Professor faculty appointment at Brown University.
