Doug Cheung is a research scientist at the Center of Population Sciences for Health Equity at Florida State University and a current PhD student in Public Health at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. With over 15 years of experience spanning academic research, non-profit work, and business and finance, he is an epidemiologist by training from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Doug’s research focuses on the intersecting and compounding effects of substance use, HIV, and other psychosocial vulnerabilities, with a particular emphasis on structural determinants of health. His work aims to improve health outcomes for populations with limited access to healthcare.
