Artur Luz Nunes Queiroz

Dr. Artur Queiroz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Florida State University. He obtained his PhD in Nursing Science and Public Health from Universidade de São Paulo and Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Dr. Queiroz also completed his master’s in nursing science at the Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing at Universidade de São Paulo, a WHO Collaborating Centre for nursing research and development.
His research focuses on HIV prevention among men who engage in sex with men, with particular attention to how chemsex (sexualized substance use) impacts HIV prevention and sexual health within this population.
