Founded in 1974, it has grown to become one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations for sexual and gender groups. With an annual budget of over $145 million, the clinic serves more than 40,000 adults and youth through its diverse health and social service delivery system, which includes seven major programmatic divisions: primary medical care, behavioral health, research, HIV/STI prevention, youth and elder services, and community initiatives.
